ROM. Royal Ontario Museum in Toronto.
Seems like almost everything in Toronto is called in initials. TTC, UT, AGO...so on.
I went to ROM on Friday afternoon. Good news: It's half price ticket on Friday 4:30pm - 8:30pm.
I spotted the building right away coming from St. George Station.

在Toronto好像大部份的東西都是以縮寫稱呼, TTC (地鐵）, UT（Toronto大學）, AGO（Ontario美術館)，我星期五下午去ROM，好康道相報：星期五 4:30pm - 8:30pm 門票半價，從St. George站的方向走一下就看到博物館的建築啦。

It's the time to reveal my new KIMONO GIRL painting again!
This time is...
VIRGO!

The muse is my girl Jenn. (Yes...I decided to name my muse from now on.) (For previous paintings, Pisces is Vicky, Taurus is myself.) Jenn is a classic Virgo girl. I was infected by Virgo's consistently uncertain thoughts when working on this painting. Crazy! Phew~i'm glad it's over now.

我的繆思是我好友Jenn，(我從今以後都要公佈我繆思的名子啦，雙魚是Vicky，金牛是我自己。) Jenn是一個標準的處女座女孩，我創作這張畫的時候被處女座的 "不停的改變想法" 影響得快瘋了，好險，已經結束了。

Nuit Blanche Night Out 2011

I got a chance to check out Nuit Blanche while I was visiting Toronto this year.
It is an one night only art event that lasts all night long til next morning.
There are art performances, exhibitions and random acts of interaction from people, which are also fun to see.

It's a free event.
Takes place on the street in downtown Toronto.

Portobello West Market Free Admission

Portobello West Market is artist market for Vancouver local artists and vendor.
Clothing, soaps, jewerlley, arts...new products made by local artists and designers.
It's a monthly market; takes place at Creekside Community Centre on the last Sunday of each month.
They used to be at the Railway station close to Science World but changed location.
I haven't check out their new Creekside location yet, so don't know the size of the place. It was quite the large scale market back in Railway station though...

The admission is $2. But now you can go for free on Sunday September 25, 2011, if you use this coupon.
Print as many as you like; just what this coupon says.
It's a unique large scale artist market in Vancouver. So if you haven't check it out, please do!

Love for Kate Middleton

I am crazy about the Royal Wedding even after Prince William and Kate Middleton sealed the deal on April 29, 2011. I actually stayed up late to watch the Royal Wedding live in Britain. I know we should now call her Catherine Middleton or Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge, but I think Kate is much cuter.

Here I'm counting down to the top 5 glamorous styles of Kate Middleton. You can't help to fall in love with Kate's style. She is so chic and graceful. Outfits she pull on just looks so high-end and expensive. It's probably due to her aura. She is elegant, full of life and down to earth. I guess that's why people love her so much.

就算William 王子與 Kate Middleton 已經在2011年4月29日成婚，我還是很瘋這場皇家婚禮，我當天還通宵看英國的現場轉撥，我知道現在應該稱呼她 Catherine Middleton 或是 殿下Cambridge 公爵夫人，但是我覺得Kate 比較可愛。

現在我要來倒數前五名Kate Middleton的時尚造型，愛死了Kate的style，她很時髦又優雅，她穿的衣服看起來很高級又昂貴，可能是她氣質的關係，很高雅，充滿活力又很親切，這就是為什麼人們這麼愛她吧。

Kate is not born a royalty but she sure looks like one. The blue bloods love fancy hats. When some of them looks like chickens and turkeys who are having bad hair days, Kate just looks FAB. (Fabulous) She can really pull off this floral blue number.

Kate 不是皇室出生，但她看起來就很像是，貴族們喜歡花俏的帽子，當有些人戴帽子看起來像頭髮亂掉的a母雞與火雞，Kate就是精彩又迷人 ，她很能駕馭這件藍色花朵的款式。

Emotion Triggered . 情緒引爆

2011 is what a troubled year indeed. Countless disasters from civil war in Libya, earthquake in Japan to my car accident weeks ago. Just troubling.

Trouble stirs even in the fashion world. John Galliano's fall from grace hits front page on every fashion news centre. A random bar dispute revealed deep trouble in designer's mind. This deep trouble led to Galliano's shockingly quick dismissal from the house of Dior. The decision shaken the entire fashion world.

I can't stop thinking about the popular 2012 end of the world theory while looking at the deaths and tragic pictures in this current situation of the world. Is the end of the world really coming in 2012?

"Emotion will be agitate easily this year," said a fortune teller on a popular Taiwanese show, "It's good to practice the control of your emotion In family, work or in the society."

I feel it's so true. At least for me regarding the situation of my car accident. My emotion was on a coaster ride of anger since the moment of the car accident. The first week following the car accident is the worst. I was feeling pain physically and emotionally.

But with the grace of God I've survived from all and is feeling better. But ever since the car accident I need to pray to God for my every car trip.

And life goes on.

To be looking forward to the end of the world in 2012 will do us no good. That will be equal to praying for the world to end in 2012. I believe if we all think like that then the world really would end by that time. I wouldn't want to see that happening.

Let's think positive despite of what had happened. Feelings change and life goes on.




2011 真是一個災難年，數不清的天災人禍從利比亞的內戰，日本的地震到幾星期前發生在我身上的車禍，真是令人煩惱。

連時尚界也有事件發生，John Galliano 嘴砲事件上了時尚界的每個頭條，一個隨機的酒館爭吵揭開了設計師心中的心魔，這個心魔導致Dior 以令人驚訝的速度開除Galliano，這個決定驚動了整個時尚界。

當看到現在世界動象的死亡人數，悲慘狀況，使我不停的想到大家常常談到的2012世界末日之說，2012真的會世界末日嗎？

一個台灣節目的占星家說："今年是個容易犯脾氣的一年，...家庭裡面，或是學校裡面，或者是社會上，都是要修練自己的脾氣。"

我覺得很準，致少我自己的情況是這樣，就是關於我車禍的事，從車禍那刻開始，我的情緒像坐一趟憤怒的雲霄飛車，車禍後的第一個星期最糟，我心身都感到痛苦。

但因著上帝的恩典，我撐過去了，也慢慢感到好些，但現在每次開車前都要禱告一下。

生命繼續著。

去期代著2012世界末日的到來不會給我們帶來好處，這樣就等於祈禱著讓2012世界末日降臨一樣，如果我們都這樣想，那世界末日在那時就一定會到，我不想看到那樣。

就算事情發生了，讓我們往好的一面想，感覺會變，而生命繼續著。

Sky of Cities

I have a thing for the sky. I always like to look up to the sky and observe. Sometimes I see an amazing colour, sometimes birds fly by and sometimes it's the cloud shape which made me laugh. If one day you need to classifies the world by just 2 kinds of people, sky people or ocean people, I will be one of the sky people.

我對天空有特別的情感，我喜歡抬頭觀察天空，有時候我看到奇妙的顏色，有時候是鳥群飛過，有時候是雲的型狀讓我笑出來，如果有一天世界需要分類成兩種人，天空人種或是海洋人類，我會是其中一個天空人種。

I Found this beautiful magazine at a book store in Tokyo.

It's called KIMONO姫 ( KIMONO Princess )

This magazine is like a kimono dream come true. Just the perfect combination between the traditional and the modern fashion with a dreamy twist of the fantasy fairy tale world. 

The cover is actress 宮崎あおい

在東京的書店找到了這本超有美感的雜誌，KIMONO姫，這本雜誌是和服傳統與現代時尚的完美結合，加上一筆夢一般的童話故事氣氛。

封面人物是  宮崎葵。

This issue focus on accessories, and the theme is the four seasons.
這本主要是配件特輯，主題是四季。
